Add-on for veterinary faculties
Teach on real cases. Keep clients’ data out of it.
VaroVet Academic turns your university clinic into a teaching system: students observe real visits under their own login, supervisors sign off their notes, and every case builds the logbook.
A module on top of VaroVet — not a separate system.
Your clinic runs on VaroVet like any other. Academic is switched on for your organisation and adds the teaching layer to the same records, calendar and roles.
Each student sees their visits. Only theirs.
Students get a personal login and are assigned to individual visits. They see the clinical record — history, exam, labs, treatment — with the owner’s name, phone and address removed. Every view is attributable to the named student.
Access starts with the rotation and ends with it.
Import a cohort, put students on rotations with a supervisor and dates, and assign them to visits from the calendar. When the rotation ends, access ends — no one has to remember to switch it off.
Students write. Supervisors approve.
A student’s exam notes stay a draft until the supervising vet approves or returns them with a comment. Nothing reaches the record unsigned.
The logbook fills itself.
Every visit a student observes or assists in is logged by species and procedure, counted against the faculty’s requirements, and exportable for assessment.
Post-mortem cases, from intake to report.
Necropsy cases linked to the patient’s clinical history, with findings, samples sent to the lab, and a final report — a teaching resource the whole faculty can learn from. We’re building it with our pilot faculties.
Join the pilot programme.
We’re working with a small group of European veterinary faculties to shape Academic. Pilot faculties get a dedicated implementation lead and a say in what we build next.
